Made at a creamery in Cornwall from only local full fat cow’s milk, Chatel is a soft, mold ripened cheese made by Cornish Country Larder. The intense buttery texture comes from the addition of Cornish double cream. Chatel ripens for 10 days in special climate-controlled rooms and where it develops a golden straw color and velvety texture.
